WHAT IS MYOFASCIAL RELEASE?
JFB-Myofascial release is hands-on therapy that addresses restrictions in the body's connective tissue (fascia
) which create imbalance and cause pain. Myofascial release can decrease or eliminate pain and restore movement, thereby restoring the patient to an active and independent lifestyle. The John Barnes' approach to MFR is effective for back pain, cervical pain, migraine headaches, carpal tunnel and thoracic outlet syndromes, fibromyalgia, pediatrics, post surgical pain (after initial healing and medical release), sports and auto accident injuries, restricted motion, chronic fatigue syndrome, and even helps significantly with IBS constipation.
A prescription for Occupational therapy from your doctor is required!!
